Don't forget the sunscreen!!!

This weekend Chase and I went camping. It was quite the fun adventure, one of those last minute ideas and we went for it. We rented kayaks from Sports Chalet and drove around till we found a camp ground. We started in Camp Verde, after realizing there was still snow on the ground we headed south until we found Lake Roosevelt. We had a blast! However, we learned a lesson that we hope to never forget, don't forget the sunscreen!!! We both got some pretty bad sun burns, but Chase took the worst of it. His sun burn on his back and chest ended up being so bad; we had a lovely visit to the Emergency Room. After much rest, lots of Aloe Vera, Benadryl, Tylenol, and sleep, he seems to be doing much better.

Ice Blocking

Believe it or not, I have never been ice blocking before. We went with the young men and young women for a tuesday night activity. It was so much fun!

Something to blog about.....

This weekend was a Pumpkin weekend! We made pumpkin pies and carved a jack-o-lantern. My mother in law taught me how to make pumpkin pie. YUMMY! It turns out that it is very easy, and tastes delicious! Thanks Julie! And thank you Michelle for helping me and teaching me how to make home made whip cream.

I got a new car

This is my new car, well, I guess it is new to me. It is a 2005 Accord, and it is so nice to have a reliable car. We just got it yesturday. Chase helped me realize that this is the first car I have bought that is for me to drive. After realizing that, I feel that I should take this moment to thank my mom and dad for the many cars they have bought for me in the past, THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

It's been awhile

Hello everyone. This weekend I was reminded that I last posted on our blog in May, and I need to make some changes. So, thanks to Julia, I now know how to decorate and make the blog look cute- THANKS JULIA! I am still learning how to do things, so it doesn't look perfect yet. I am going to try to be better and think of creative things to start posting.

Rocky Point

I can finally say I have been to Mexico! Thanks to Christy for finding the condo, and everyone planning the last minute trip. It was worth it, and it was nice to get away from work and school to relax. The city was crazy with everyone trying to sell you stuff, but it is always fun to see other cultures. The ocean was so nice!!! I did not realize how much I missed it! It had been almost two years since I had seen the ocean. It was fun to swim in, but the waives where a little big for me, so the waive runners where really fun to ride. I can not wait for out next adventure!!!
